Karoake CAPC and a blast from the past

After simultaneous and successful events in Fort Lauderdale, the CAPC team mixed it up with the locals at McSorley’s, where karoake was the name of the game.

“This was my first visit to a karoake bar,” says Sonya Hennessy, CAPC association manager, “and I was really impressed by the level of talent last night.”

CAPC Board member and esteemed professor from Auburn Unviersity, Dr. Byron Blagburn is no stranger to the stage. Blagburn played lead guitar and keyboards for legendary rock band Pure Smack.

“Karoake night was good fun and allowed all of us to relax a little” says Blagburn. “I didn’t sing last night because I thought it was unfair to bring out the big guns at an amateur event.”

The CAPC Team has agreed to keep private all photos and any video that may or may not exist of individual performances. According to the team, hit rock band Journey was well represented.

For those about to rock, we salute you...
